TIME’s review noted, "Han asks a timely yet urgent question: Is it possible to feel truly safe in a place that wasn't made for you?” The Dallas Morning News and National Public Radio featured raving reviews for this story that involves ordinary people that endure extraordinary events, which is revealed with exhilarative prose. A little girl's nighttime odysseys initiate a series of unpredictable outcomes that jeopardize the fragile stability of her family. Han’s short stories have appeared in The Iowa Review, Guernica, Electric Literature, and the Texas Observer, and his essays have appeared in The Atlantic and Literary Hub. He has received awards from the MacDowell Colony, the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, and the Tulsa Artist Fellowship.
