rousselin02
Not extremely familiar with the area, but was wondering if anybody would recommend a good weekend brunch place? Mimosas and bloody marys would be a good deal too. Any bottomless mimosa places?
texmomma
Mimis is good for brunch. They have mimosas there, not sure about bloody marys. Edited December 17, 2010 by Guest
mgrayar
Uncle Julios is always a good spot. Full bar so you can get anything you like, but their Bloody Mary build your own bar ensures you get it how you like it! Not sure they still have that, but here is the menu. U. Joel
I don't really care for the Nate's in Allen, but the Sunday brunch is good.
bsnelson
Apparently, at some time in the near future, we're going to have a Bonnie Ruth's in Watters Creek. The one in Frisco is outstanding. Brad

allen
La Duni is widely regarded as one of the top brunch spots in Dallas. They're supposed to be opening in the Village at Fairview this month.
texmomma
I don't know specifically what Mimi's has in their mimosas, I have seen them on the menu. They also serve wine, it isn't a new thing for them.
mgrayar
All Mimi's sell wine. And my specific post above is what they put in them a couple years ago. Probably still the same. Wycliff is a restaurant label sparkling wine.
Juelipino
Mimi's uses orange juice and Freixenet sparkling wine, or at least they use to when I worked at Mimi's some years ago
mgrayar
Basically same thing. They just spend a little more for the Frex. It's still inexpensive sparkling, like most mimosas.

They're supposed to be opening in the Village at Fairview this month. I believe this is opening in two stages. There are two individual parts. Coffee studio phase one. Could be wrong but was informed that it will be later for phase two, the Kitchen.

StacyLynn624
Is Bonnie Ruth's now open for brunch? We tried to go there a couple of weeks ago, and it didn't look like they were serving brunch yet. I've been wanting to try it.
Will
I went to Bonnie Ruth's last night. This past Sunday was their first brunch. They will be doing a la carte on Saturday and buffet on Sunday with a la carte available in the bakery area.
mgrayar
La Duni will be another great near-Allen option very soon.
